The rate of anxiety disorders and postpartum depression (ppd) have greatly increased since the pandemic began. The postpartum period is a highly tender time in life which deserves genuine care. To better aid an individual suffering with anxiety/ppd, attention must be directed toward the body, both nutritionally and holistically. In my Master’s Degree studies, I specialized in the management of PPD through nutritional and lifestyle changes. While the Wahls Protocol is not intended to replace medical care for any mood disorders, adjunctively it can significantly help an individual feel better.
